Discord has become a major hub for sharing leaked creator content. Private servers, DMs, and public channels all get used to distribute stolen OnlyFans, Fansly, and Patreon content. Here's how to get your content removed.

How Content Gets Leaked on Discord

Leaked content appears on Discord in several ways:

  • Dedicated leak servers: Private servers created specifically to share leaked content
  • Trading channels: Channels where users trade content from different creators
  • Public servers: Larger servers with leak channels or bots
  • Direct messages: Content shared directly between users
  • Bots: Automated bots that distribute content on command

Step 1: Find Your Content on Discord

Challenges

Finding content on Discord is harder than other platforms because:

  • Most servers are private/invite-only
  • Discord doesn't have public search
  • Content is often in encrypted DMs

Methods to Find Leaks

  • Reverse image search: May find Discord CDN links (cdn.discordapp.com)
  • Fan tips: Fans or other creators may alert you
  • Server invite leaks: Invite links sometimes get posted publicly
  • Google search: Search your name + "discord" + "leaked"

Step 2: Gather Required Information

Discord requires specific information to process DMCA requests. Before filing, collect:

For Messages in Servers

You need the Message Link format: https://discord.com/channels/[server-ID]/[channel-ID]/[message-ID]

To get this:

  1. Enable Developer Mode in Discord (Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode)
  2. Right-click the message → Copy Message Link

For Attachments

Copy the direct attachment URL (right-click image/video → Copy Link)

For Entire Servers

Note the Server ID (right-click server → Copy Server ID with Developer Mode on)

Step 3: File Your DMCA Notice

Option 1: Online Form (Recommended)

Use Discord's official DMCA form at: support.discord.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=18954746269463

Option 2: Email

Email copyright@discord.com with "DMCA Takedown Request" in the subject line.

Option 3: Mail

Discord, Attention: DMCA Takedown Request
444 De Haro Street #200
San Francisco, CA 94107

Required Information

  • Your name and contact information
  • Description of your copyrighted work
  • Detailed location of infringing content (message links, server IDs, channel IDs)
  • Good faith statement that use is unauthorized
  • Statement under penalty of perjury that you're the copyright owner
  • Your signature (electronic is fine)

Step 4: Request Server Removal (For Leak-Dedicated Servers)

If an entire server is dedicated to leaking content:

  1. File individual DMCA notices for your content first
  2. Request server removal at: dis.gd/request
  3. Include the Server ID and explanation of why the server should be removed

Discord may ban servers that:

  • Exist primarily to share infringing content
  • Have multiple DMCA violations
  • Refuse to comply with takedown requests

What Happens After You File

  1. Discord reviews your notice for completeness
  2. If valid, Discord removes the content
  3. The uploader is notified and may receive a strike
  4. Repeat offenders may be banned
  5. You receive confirmation of action taken

Timeline

  • Initial response: Usually within a few days
  • Content removal: Same day as approval
  • Server removal: May take longer if under review

Dealing with Re-Uploads

Content often reappears in new servers or channels:

  • File new DMCA notices for each instance
  • Report repeat infringers—Discord may ban them
  • Consider ongoing monitoring services
  • If you have access to leak servers, check periodically

Privacy Considerations

DMCA notices require your real name and contact info. Options if privacy is a concern:

  • Use a content removal service: We file as your authorized agent
  • Hire an attorney: They can file on your behalf
  • Use a registered agent: Some services provide agent representation

Alternative: Report as Non-Consensual Intimate Media

If your content is intimate imagery shared without consent, you can also report under Discord's Non-Consensual Intimate Media policy:

  • May not require proving copyright ownership
  • Uses Discord's standard reporting flow
  • May result in faster action for intimate content
